Product Description:

Suspended transmission line polymeric metal oxide arresters with series gap are used to protect the transmission line insulators from atmospheric overvoltage and then flashover. Increasing lightning withstanding level and reducing the tripping rate of the line improve power supply reliability of the transmission line. They can be used in lightning activity areas, river-spanning tower, coastal areas, high soil resistivity areas, high ground resistance areas, mountainous areas hard to line inspect and maintain, marsh areas, the transmission lines required high reliability of power supply and so on.

Product Characteristics:

On the basis of learning from the design ideas and the successful experience of foreign similar products,through extensive research and system calculation, the company together with Jilin Electric Power Research Institute develops and produces 35kV ~ 220kV structure model of suspended post insulator to support pure air gap polymeric suspended metal oxide surge arresters used in transmission line which can be split and assembled. Technical indexes of the arrester series completely match with GB11032-2000, JB/T8952-2005 and corporation technology standards. In addition, compared with the same type domestic products ,they have the following technical characteristics:

1 The whole structure of arresters is sealed entirely, and high-density silicone rubber is filled between resistance chips and the insulation cylinder. The whole product becomes one body from inside to outside, so the capability of sealing and explosion-proof has been improved greatly.

2 Line type arresters with pure air gap use a unique pillar insulators to support white-steel air space, which can accurately fix the spark gap up and down and avoid the problem of the resistance chip degradation caused by inaccurate installation of  spark gap and abnormal discharge of air gap in operation. The special structure design makes the air gap have excellent discharge characteristics and extremely small dispersion. It is not impacted by environment, and distance of the air gap is designed reasonably. Arc discharge will not burn insulator strings and lines, and tripping rate of line is effectively decreased, and lightning withstanding level and operation reliability are improved, and maintenance cost is reduced.

3 The side outgoing-line is used in the connecting side of arresters, so the structure of product is simplified. Line arresters are installed with operation recorders. Operation condition, reflected in preventive tests and operations, is more reliable and truthful.

4 The arrester series produced by the company are a set of assembly products. They are equipped with removable picking and hanging brackets that are fit for a variety of tower-type structures and can be assembled on the ground. The whole is hung on the tower. The original tower materials need not to be re-drilled, and the original line insulators need not to be lengthened. It is convenient to split and assemble them in daily maintenance, overhaul and test.
